birthday candles and gelato dreams…
Come Thursday, I will turn 33 and I’ve never felt better. By the time you read this, I’ll be on a plane, in the air, headed for Rome. I don’t know exactly what I have planned yet for my Roman birthday, but you can be certain it will involve pasta and loads of gelato.
And when 12.18 passes, the winter wonder of celebrations continue, because come February I’ll celebrate two years of sobriety. I’d never though I’d come this far, but I couldn’t be more happy with my life right this moment.

Hey you….PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write a book while you’re in Italy. Write about the sights and sounds and tastes and passion of the area. I so crave to read another book that brings that area into perspective as who knows when I’LL be able to afford to go there
