wait…serena killed someone??! and why am i not surprised?
I’m not sure what’s scarier – the fact that I’m 32 and I am totally and utterly infatuated with a show (Gossip Girl) about the scandalous lives of rich teenagers, or the fact that some blond WASP went and killed someone just to see them die, and dumb ass didn’t realize that someone’s always sporting a camera. Someone’s always committing your life to celluloid. Your partner in crime will always want to get revenge if the possibility of prison lurks. I’ve lost count of how many times I blacked out, was incapacitated – but you don’t see me going all The Shining on someone’s poor, unsuspecting ass. And maybe it’s because I saw an episode of Dynasty or two, or maybe I’ve committed all four seasons of The O.C. (boy, do I have a lot of shame) to memory, but why am I not surprised that this would totally go down?!

This is too funny. I’m just about to turn 28 and I, too, am a Gossip Girl fiend. My fiance, finds it humorous. My little sister finds it humorous. Hell…even I find it humorous that I’m wrapped up in a show (a really far-fetched and scandalously dramatic show, at that) about rich teenagers in New York City. Even from the first episode I thought to myself, “Okay…these kids are…what?…16 and they are getting into bars? Yeah right!” But I’m hooked anyway. Gossip Girl and The Bachelor. My (unfortunate) guilty pleasures.
As for Serena dropping the murder bomb: my opinion is that she is so terrified of Georgina (who probably drugged her and made her kill someone while heavily inebriated) that she truly believes that she killed someone. Not quite sure…other than I was really wishing that it was a sex tape and not murder…

I’m in the UK and we’re only about halfway through the first season and I just cannot see her committing murder. Blair yes, but Serena? It just don’t sound right.
BTW I’m 36 in November and seriously addicted to Gossip Girl, Project Runway & ANTM.

(age ain’t nothing but a number;-) I used to be shamed of my love for GG, but after that long hiatus from the writer’s strike i really find myself enjoying it even more!! The recap from Daily Intel is simply icing on an already sweet cake; can’t have one treat without the other!

Also, Blaire would never commit murder. She’s evil in a high school popular girl way, but that is all.

It really scared me (and gave me goose bumps) to see Serena’s face and to hear her say that… she looked really scary crying and when she said that I got really scared! And the music made it worse. And wow. Idk how I feel about this one.
