nothing like thin crust pizza and endless conversation…
we’re going to pretend we never saw the photos of me inhaling said pizza, because, frankly, one could say that i bear a striking resemblance to a whale – say, shamu.
but that’s neither here nor there. what was wonderful about this particular cold saturday was a celebration of my friend natalie’s rock star appearance on the CBS early morning (does this girl know glue guns or what??!), and dishing with a table of smart, savvy and accomplished women. i used to get vertigo meeting “new people” – i’d cower in corners, cradling a glass heavy with red. but this was felicia in revision. this was a woman content with her endless glasses of water, a little dish of affogato and killer conversation.
good to know that i wear sobriety well.
