dimestore luxe: when you’re this close to punching puppies (kidding!), lather on noah’s naturals’ massage oil

noah's naturals massage oil Lately, I’ve been living one extended episode of I Can’t Even. I can’t even blog. I can’t even meet you for a muffin, much less a meal that might involve waiting for an appetizer, and oh god forbid we entertain dessert. CRIMINAL. I can’t even believe I nearly took a shower whilst wearing socks. It’s a single violin and that old, familiar song, but work stress has managed to wrangle its way into my life, but I’m determined to shake it. Although I love my job and feel constantly challenged by the work, clients, and most importantly my colleagues, saying that my last few weeks have been rough would be a laughable understatement.

Whether it be a Core Fusion workout, where, for one hour, I’m forced to look inward or igniting a fragrant illumine or indulging in a scrub that evokes flights of Fiji fancy and glinting bodies on bleached shores, I seek comfort in simple, unadulterated pleasures and the pensive spaces. One of my new discoveries has been Organics by Noah’s Naturals’ Stress Relief Massage Oil ($10.99), and after hot showers in the midst of frigid evenings, it feels good to slather this all over my skin.

Paraben and sulfate free, and free of artificial colors and animal testing, this luscious massage oil is formulated with organic jojoba, almond, and safflower oils, vitamins A & E, then infused with eucalyptus and basil — a delicious concoction that smells fresh, clean and provides an utterly aromatherapeutic experience. I adore the fact that the oil immediately absorbs into my skin and provides a smooth, grease-free finish.

Available at Walmart, Walgreens, and Longs Drugs, however, you can click here for locations near you!

Full Disclosure: The team at Noah’s Naturals was kind enough to provide a sample for potential feature/review.

I have become pretty obsessed with Neutrogena sesame body oil. It’s so weird: oil, but very light. And drugstore products give me such a frugal, sensible thrill.

Long, long ago I used to use an intensely almond-y body oil in a gorgeous blue bottle, but I can’t remember who made it. My point is, I want to try the Noah’s. The scent sounds lovely. Usually at this time of year, I’m knee-deep in the Origin’s superthick Ginger cream, which I adore.

  2. Felicia Says:

    Bonnie,

I love Origins, especially the ginger line. I was really heartbroken to hear that the Lavender line, which I had been buying for years, is being discontinued.

    Cheers, Felicia
