get delicious: sam brocato salon
If you’re seeking a space that focuses more on consumer education rather than pushing product, run, don’t walk, to Sam Brocato Salon in New York. I’ve had many people blow out my hair over the past year, but few are so intricately involved in product development or so devoted to hair health as Sam Brocato. Recently, I had the great privilege to chatting with the salon owner about his exclusive product line and the latest trends in the marketplace, which may not be worth all the fanfare and confetti (read: wet to dry flat iron = Never Again Tour 2009). For nearly twenty minutes we discussed scalp and hair health, debated the efficacy of various flatirons and spoke about integrity when it comes to the stylist-client relationship. Akin to my epic Dermalogica experience, I felt incredibly comfortable and wholly educated during my time at the Sam Brocato Salon. And while I’m quite loyal to my stylist of nearly seven years, this may be the first time I’ve decided to have an alternate salon on stand-by, the stylists and the products (INVEST in the Peppermint!) are that fabulous.

Thank you for the generous and clear explanation of your salon experience with us, being some what new as a salon owner we are finding our way your comments validate the efforts of our tribe.
One of my true passions is product development, so whenever someone takes the time to understand my work I am propelled.
Hope to see you again and soon.
