covet this: femme fekkai sensuelle eau de parfum
Call me nostalgic but I long for a return to frame bags and men who wore hats. Ladies who wore their perfectly coiffed hair and voluminous dresses like plumage and gentlemen who never dared to leave their home sans jacket. And when I think of elegance, of an era defined by soigné sophistication, I think of fragrance.
Over the years I’ve been a chameleon when it comes to scent. I’ve dabbled in cool crisp linens, jasmine, wild orchids and fragile lilies. I’ve acquired a litany of bottles and beloveds over the years, and I firmly believe that a woman’s scent is constantly en media res for we’re always changing. We’re chrysalis like that, I suppose.
Depending upon my mood, I’ve at least five fragrances in rotation – anything from a touch of lavender oil (purchased from your local drug store) to the fanciful. Presently I’m smitten by Frederic Fekkai’s dashing Femme Fekkai Sensuelle’s Eau De Parfum ($95). A smart, sinful entrée into the luxury fragrance-infusion space, Sensuelle is Frederic Fekkai’s first hair care collection to infuse fine fragrance, including shampoo, conditioner, hair spray and eau de parfum. Decidedly feminine, but at turns bold and soft, you’ll find sensual orange blossoms, arresting jasmine (clearly I bend to this bloom), grounded in woody and amber notes. The scent is fresh and it lingers. It’s the sort of fragrance you want in your hair, drizzled on your sheets and dabbled on the wrists.
So if you’re seeking a sweet indulgence or a divine holiday gift, INVEST in the deliciousness that is Fekkai Sensuelle.
