KGB BAR Lit – 4/24/06
KGB BAR LIT will feature cutting-edge writing from literary luminaries and emerging authors of all genres, as well as thought provoking work by visual artists, musicians, and filmmakers. The magazine’s premier issue will carry an international theme, highlighting PEN New World Voices through the words of Jhumpa Lahiri, Chris Abani, and Etgar Keret. Also included: music from London-born composer Tarik O’Regan, video from Brazilian artist, Luiz Roque, and artwork depicting the history of 400 Years of Japanese Sex, courtesy of the Museum of Sex . . .plus, LIT will present interviews and stories from Arthur Philips, Tom Bissell, Sam Lipsyte, Daniel Alarcon, Amanda Stern and many others.
With big name blurbs from Michael Cunningham & Jonathan Lethem, not to mention it’s being run by my girl Susan and cool pal Suzanne, this will be HUGE, I tell you, HUGE, and I couldn’t be more excited.

Do you know when this is coming out? I’d love to see it. Where can I get a copy of it? Is it online? Thanks!
