Oh, dear god. I’ve become one of those shameless people who smells their hair all day long. Forgive my momentarily lapse of reason, but I just can’t get over Oribe’s Signature Shampoo ($29) & Conditioner ($34) – the sultan of everyday hair care, it’s that opulent. From the sleek, ebony bottles sporting a Versace-inspired crest, to the evocative elixir of of coconut, lychee, edelweiss flower, and watermelon extracts within, this ultra-luxe shampoo & conditioner will leave your hair shiny, detangled, nourished, and healthy.
With over three decades of styling the world’s most beautiful and elegant women in fashion editorials, on runways, and in haute salons, Oribe is known for merging old world craftsmanship with innovative technology to create sophisticated and gorgeous hair. And the marvel is in the details. While I’m not normally swayed by packaging, the nocturnal look evoked by the Signature line was minimal and elegant. It spoke luxury. And lathering up made the experience all that much more fabulous. I’ll repeat this until I’m six feet under, but for my coarse curls I immediately know a product works when it feels silky soft after the shampoo, before conditioning.
And after racing about the city, nearly blown over by the windy rain, my curls felt soft, shiny, and well, the smell is absolutely de-lovely. And after two days, my curls look and feel amazing. Check out the snap below!
