currently coveting: armani exchange dresses
I can’t do jeans in the summer, I simply cannot. Otherwise I’ll need to crank central air, full blast, on my legs should I dare to wear denim. So summer is all about linen, cotton, and silk voile dresses, skirts with insane pleating and fabulous swing. And although my legs conjure images of bone-bleached vampires, I don’t care. That’s why god created sunless tanner.
But I digress. Remember how I scored that delicious linen Armani Exchange dress? The dress I’ve worn three times and have already soiled with haute organic pizza and coffee because I’m a pig-pen like that? That dress. I was so delirious with the forever find, that I neglected to spread the gospel that was the infinitely covetable, and surprisingly affordable, dresses and skirts at A/X. •Belted Bubble Dress, $130 (pictured left) – Bubble dresses are entirely flattering for a petite, curvy gal like me, but if you’re tall or are rocking slim hips, I absolutely recommend this frock. It’s fun, and the color – hello, divine! Also, check out this One-Shoulder Bubble Dress, $130 – so on trend for the season!
•Tie Waist Dress, $130 – clean, classic, and decidedly feminine without all the fuss.
•Can’t resist denim, still? I have an option. Check out this Pleated Denim Skirt, $49 – I adore this voluminous silhouette that keeps you cool in the sweltering months.
